Morningside Hills
United Church of Christ
Morningside Hills is a loving community where people renew their spirits, grow in faith, and act for justice.
We envision and work for a more kind, just world where people know and show the love of God.
No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!
Sundays
Worship is at 10am on Sundays, both in-person and online via Zoom. We shape worship around relevant themes, connecting insights from Scripture with the present moment and inviting worshippers to connect with one another in compassionate, Christlike community.
Weekly Sunday School classes gather children in elementary school, while nursery care and in-sanctuary options are available during Sunday services for children 5 and under.
We blend musical styles in worship, offering brief choruses, ensemble performances, contemporary songs and occasional music videos alongside traditional hymns. Our music ministries include periodic music from the Chancel Choir, Morningside Bells, or the house band, Mass Chaos.

*A Time of Transition
With the recent departure of Pastor Oby Ballinger, Morningside Hills UCC is going through a ministerial leadership transition under the guidance of an internal search committee.
Rev. Dr. Paula Northwood will be serving as a bridge pastor leading Sunday Worship and staff, while Community Minister, Rev. Dr. Frank Bennett, will cover pastoral care duties.
