MTC is now seeking teen volunteers
for Summer 2026!

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with MTC this summer! Teen volunteers are incredibly essential in our summer season, passing on the joy of theatre to our elementary performers. We cannot do it without you!

Teen volunteering is an application process and opportunity. We hope to accommodate as many teen volunteers as possible, but please note filling out a form does not guarantee placement. We are seeking responsible and accountable leaders.

Applications open on Friday, February 20th

Applications close on Friday, March 6th

Placements will be sent by Friday, March 13th

About:

Teen volunteers assist campers with learning lines, music, choreography and they role model what it means to be an actor at MTC. Teen volunteers join in all rehearsal days of any given session, bringing the focus and the fun to our younger campers. During the last week of camp, volunteers partake in a plethora of tech roles for the production, including sound tech, light op, backstage crew, costume crew, box office and more.

Requirements: 

- Teen volunteers commit to the ENTIRETY of rehearsal and performance schedule. Please contact us with specific questions regarding conflicts.
- Attend the pre-summer meeting on Saturday, May 30th at 9-10:30am.
- Arrive 15 minutes before actor call times and stay 10 minutes after camp. 
- Arrive 1.5 hours before each performance time. 
- Provide all-black clothing for performances.
- Attend and participate in post show strike
- Positive attitude, willingness to be big, bold and brave, love for theatre and enjoy supporting with elementary actors!

Below are the camp sessions where teen volunteers are needed. All four elementary sessions are half-days for two weeks long with three performances each for campers 2nd-5th. Click here to see the full summer calendar. 

DISNEY'S FROZEN (JUNE 1ST-13TH):

Morning Cast: M-F June 1-10, 8:30am-11:30am
Auditions: Tuesday, May 26th: 4:30-8:30pm
Performances (3): June 11 @ 7pm, June 12 @ 3pm and June 13 @ 10am

Afternoon Cast: M-F June 1-10, 1:30pm-4:30pm
Auditions: Wednesday, May 27th: 4:30-8:30pm
Performances (3): June 11 @ 3pm, June 12 @ 7pm and June 13 @ 3pm

SEUSSICAL KIDS (JUNE 15TH-27TH):

Morning Cast: M-F June 15-24, 8:30am-11:30am
Auditions: Thursday, May 28th: 4:30-8:30pm
Performances (3): June 25 @ 7pm, June 26 @ 3pm and June 27 @ 10am

Afternoon Cast: M-F June 15-24, 1:30pm-4:30pm
Auditions: Friday, May 29th: 4:30-8:30pm
Performances (3): June 25 @ 3pm, June 26 @ 7pm and June 27 @ 3pm
